About Us
Fused Accounting arose through conversations with other business owners needing help in their businesses. In conversations with these business owners, each had varying levels of the same concerns; we saw a prevalent pattern emerge. The need for clarity, structure, connection, and knowledgeable support.
We found that a knowledgeable support network is a key factor in a businesses growth and success, without it, a business can only grow to the level of experience of the business owner. This is where Fused Accounting helps entrepreneurs thrive. We understand that you may not know what questions to ask to get the answers you need – we do! We understand that you can not be everything to everyone – we can support and connect you, allowing your time to be focused on the profitable aspects of your business.

Natty Lyslo, Bookkeeper
Growing up with a mom that is a bookkeeper, I knew I wanted to follow in the same footsteps. Math and numbers were always a strong suit of mine throughout school, so bookkeeping came naturally to me.
I enjoy the challenge of organizing and maintaining our clients books and being a part of their business in a way that supports their growth and success.
I find the bookkeeping world is one of continual learning, and with Denise as my coach and guide, I look forward to a career in bookkeeping and tax preparation for entrepreneurs and business owners.
Jackie St. Pierre, Bookkeeper
An experienced bookkeeper is highly regarded in small business and Jackie is experienced, methodical, and efficient. Jackie brings decades of knowledge as a efficient and precise bookkeeper.
Jackie may be “officially retired” from regular employment but she loves to help out small businesses with their bookkeeping needs and thrives on helping her clients succeed.
Always wanting to be busy, Jackie balances out her technical skills in bookkeeping with a good dose of creative gourd carving and art. She too understands the benefits of having a “side hustle” that not only gives you joy, but the tax benefits as well.
Jamie Richer, Senior Bookkeeper
Having called Stony Plain home for the past 11 years, I am deeply rooted in this vibrant community. Family and friends play a large part in my life and with a lively 12-year-old son and very social husband, they keep life interesting and full of joy.
It’s easy to bring that same joy to work. Our clients are great and my work family is supportive and fun.
With over 7 years of bookkeeping experience, I bring a detail-oriented and organized approach to managing financial records and supporting our clients needs.
Justine Russell, Bookkeeper
I built a strong foundation in accounting and bookkeeping through my studies at NAIT, where I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration - specializing in accounting.
For the past two years, I’ve lived a unique lifestyle with my husband and our cat, spending winters in Fernie BC and summers working in wildfire operations - experiences that taught me resilience, adaptability, and the value of hard work. Now permanently settled back in my hometown of Stony Plain, I’m excited to bring that same dedication to supporting entrepreneurs and business owners through bookkeeping.
With constant opportunities for learning, I look forward to building strong relationships, keeping clients’ books organized, and supporting the success of local businesses with Fused Accounting.
Cheryl Tonn, Tax Preparer
Cheryl’s path into tax preparation is anything but traditional, and that’s what makes her so effective in the work she does today. With a background that includes respiratory therapy, first aid instruction, and administrative and bookkeeping responsibilities, she brings a blend of precision, patience, and real-world understanding to every client file.
Her early years in healthcare taught her the importance of accuracy, calm under pressure, and communicating clearly—skills that translate naturally into the detailed world of tax preparation. Later, as a first aid instructor who also managed the behind-the-scenes bookkeeping for training programs, she discovered a talent for organizing information, keeping systems running smoothly, and supporting people through processes that can feel overwhelming.
Today, Cheryl applies that same mindset to helping individuals and small business owners get accurate, complete, and well-organized tax filings. She believes accounting should be approachable, not intimidating, and she works diligently to ensure every file is handled with care.
Whether she’s preparing returns or bringing order to complex records, Cheryl offers a steady, detail-driven approach rooted in decades of hands-on experience. Clients benefit from her reliability, consistency, and commitment to making tax time feel more manageable for everyone involved.
